Hello— I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m Jessie, the owner and therapist at Compassion Connection Therapy. I work with individuals, families, and young people to navigate life’s challenges and reconnect with emotional well-being. With over ten years of experience in the mental health field, I support clients facing eating disorders, body image concerns, perfectionism, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions.

Therapy can be deeply transformative—I know this both as a therapist and from my own experience as a client. I believe healing happens in spaces where you feel safe, supported, and free to show up exactly as you are. My approach is warm, non-judgmental, and trauma-informed, so you can feel truly seen, heard, and empowered.

At the heart of my work is a simple belief: you already have the strength and wisdom within you. Therapy is a partnership—one where we walk together to uncover what’s holding you back and take meaningful steps toward the life you want to live.
I love being outdoors— whether I’m hiking, paddleboarding, or snowboarding—exploring new places, and grounding myself through meditation. I also cherish time with family and friends and love soaking up the energy of live music.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you accept insurance?
At this time, Compassion Connection Therapy does not accept insurance. However, we are happy to provide a superbill or statement of services that you may submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement. If finances are a concern, please reach out — we believe access to care matters and are open to discussing options.
Who do you work with?
We work with individuals, families, and young people navigating concerns such as eating disorders, body image distress, anxiety, depression, perfectionism, life transitions, relationship challenges, and trauma. Parent support and empowerment are also a core part of our work. Sessions are offered in person in Colorado, with virtual sessions available for clients in Illinois and Wyoming.
What can I expect in the first session?
Your first session is a chance to slow down and get grounded. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’re hoping for, and any questions or concerns you may have. There’s no pressure to share everything at once — therapy moves at your pace. The goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel seen, heard, and respected.
How do I know if therapy is right for me?
If something feels heavy, confusing, or hard to manage on your own, therapy may be a helpful next step. You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from support. We offer a free 20-minute consultation so you can ask questions, share what’s going on, and see if it feels like a good fit — because the right therapeutic relationship matters.
